Scooter Matoon God bless him. Jackie Brown A very underrated movie. Amazing bail bondsman. I wish I had would have had him when I was arrested. (Once
  • Darryl B. Durham I literally just finished El Camino, sad news. I first became aware of him from his 70s series Banyon, I loved that show! Condolences to his loved ones.
  • Adam Ogaz I really liked him in Jackie Brown. I wish Pam Grier and him would have ran away together. Sad news prayers for his friends and family
  • Brandon Barry The cherry (pun intended) on top of his brilliant character actor career was the haunting, warm, lived-in, wistful minimalism he brought to Max in Jackie Brown. He doesn’t do a single actorly gesture or expression and yet you know so much about who Max Cherry is. The chaos of the narrative is given a calm, cool-as-a-cucumber center with Forester’s restraint. He adopts the leisurely pace of the movie without losing his crisp edge, and his rapport with Pam Grier and Sam Jackson is heart-stopping. Max Cherry’s “anthem” becomes The Delfonic’s’ “Didn’t I Blow Your Mind This Time” and with that last shot of Max as he watches his dream woman whisk herself away to a new life, Forster’s face mirror’s the mystery that will forever echo in Max’s head: “what if I didn’t blow her mind like she did mine?”. It resonates with ten-fold poignancy.
