Death / Obituaries : Gregg Pill of Westmont Passed Away

This is a tribute and loving memory of beloved Gregg Pill who recently passed away.

Here are some tributes posted on online to honor the deceased…

Don Rickard Wrote on Facebook.

I met Gregg Pill, who is a member of this group, at an American Planning Association convention a few years ago and immediately connected with him and found it very easy to talk about everything from food to zoning to events around town. He was a smart, sharp, outgoing and fun guy. I had lunch with him a couple times and gave me recommendations for food stops in Maine as well as locally as he was a writer for several publications writing food and restaurant reviews. Gregg was Chairman of the Westmont Plan Commission for about 15 years. Gregg has passed away sadly. RIP Gregg and thank you for your recent, and much too short friendship.

Please leave a kind and positive condolence message for deceased friends and family  at the comment box below.

I just found out about Gregg Pill’s passing. I knew him as I had to work with him in the running community as he was the race director for the Race to the Flag in Westmont, Illinois. He had his race certified with the Chicago Area Runners Association and I did the certifying. I ran his race twice and he did a good job with it. He was one of the easiest and friendliest race directors that I had to work with. I am sending a prayer to him and his family.
