Bishop Bullwinkle Death / Obituary Records .  Southern King of Comedy Passed Away.

This is only a tribute and loving memory of beloved Aaron Lee who recently passed away.

Robert Brown announced the passing of the Bishop in a facebook post with the following statements .

R.I.P. BISHOP BULLWINKLE!

It has been confirmed to me that “THE KING OF COMEDY IN SOUTHERN SOUL” has passed away. He was born Bernard Thomas on August 22, 1948 in Tampa,Florida. He was no stranger to the entertainment business having been a stand up comedian for over three decades sharing the stage with some of the biggest comedians in the industry. His career took an amazing turn when he recorded the Southern Soul hit single “Hell To The Naw Naw” which he sampled from Bigg Robb’s song, “Looking For A Country Girl” . The popularity and the success of this song garnered him instant fame nationally and internationally. He went on to tour on the Southern Soul Blues circuit regularly all the way up to his untimely passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this most difficult time. The Southern Soul world stopped laughing today but Soul Heaven is filled with laughter. Going to miss you “Preacher From The First Church Of Nothing But The Truth”.
